schools and welcome teachers who wish to select direct
from our extensive stock.
Our stock range is comprehensive, comprising fiction and
non-fiction, poetry, picture books, BIG books for the
literacy hour and mathematics lesson, plus teachers'
resources.
We have expert staff who will be happy to give advice,
carry out CD-Rom book searches and make available
catalogues from all the major publishers.
Whether you visit us in person or send us your order
direct, we offer a one-stop shopping facility which will
save you time and effort.

SCHOOL BOOK SUPPLY
All schools who have an account with us are supplied at
discount or with a 'free' books equivalent, according to
the option chosen. Orders are invoiced on 30 days credit
from date of invoice.

We accept orders by phone, fax, post or email and if the
books you require are not in stock, we endeavour to supply
within two weeks or sooner. Please quote any official order
number for invoicing purposes.
We require prepayment of invoiced orders for schools
outside the U.K., i.e. by valid credit card or sterling
cheque.
If you are a new customer and wish to open an account,
simply send us a formal request on school headed notepaper
with a contact name(s) and your account will be opened
promptly.
When visiting us to select from stock, it always helps to
make a prior appointment and to bring some form of I.D.
We operate a free delivery service within the local area
only; if a courier service is requested there is an
additional carriage charge of £4.99 per box.
SCHOOL BOOKSHOP SUPPLY
In addition to library and classroom supply we also supply
school bookshops on a regular basis. Books can be selected
direct from stock and we accept payment by cash or cheque,
at 10% discount. We are able to provide quantities of
bookmarks and other publishers' 'freebies' on request, and
usually have free poster sets to brighten up the classroom
or book corner.
EVENTS IN SCHOOL
If you are holding a book week or parents' consultation
evening when you would like to sell books in school to
children and parents, we will be happy to supply you with
stock on a 'sale-or-return' basis carefully tailored to
your particular needs. The school earns 10% commission on
all sales, but unsold stock needs to be returned in
saleable condition within the agreed time period. Please
phone, fax or email us to discuss your requirements.
We also supply books in support of visiting authors, a
great way to inspire and encourage reading as well as the
book-owning habit. Books are supplied in quantities on a
'sale-or-return' basis as above, but please let us know
well in advance of your event so that stock can be ordered
in good time.
OTHER SERVICES
- we welcome supervised class groups of leavers to select
a book of their choice from the wide range available, and
with the help of our friendly staff
- we can administer book lists presented to us to mark
a special event such as a school birthday or anniversary,
from which parents select the book they would like to
donate to the school library
- we supply book displays from which end of term prizes
can be selected
